Bookings are not taken for seat reservations for any of the special events listed below unless specifically noted. Please purchase your tickets at Glenbrook Station on the day.
Standard fares may not apply to some events as noted below:-
| Official Opening | 23 to 25 October 2010 | Official opening of the extension to Victoria Avenue, Waiuku. Currently in planning stage - official opening on Saturday 23 October 2010, two trains operating over all 3 days of Labour Weekend. |
| "Day Out with Thomas" | 6 & 7 November 2010 & 5 & 6 March 2011 |
Special Event Fares apply - Adult $20, Child $10, Family $55, children under 4 years - free. Gates open at 9 am and trains depart Glenbrook Station every half hour from 10 am to 4 pm. Disabled access is from the Glenbrook Station car park, the car park entrance is on the corner of Glenbrook Station Road & Farm Park Road, Glenbrook. The Glenbrook Station car park is set aside for disabled parking for the Day out with Thomas event. Disabled access toilets are situated next to the Glenbrook Station building. Trains can only be boarded at Glenbrook station on Day out with Thomas weekends, Glenbrook to Fernleigh & return. |
